News: 1 dead after vehicle slams into Phoenix bus stop

PHOENIX, AZ – A single fatality was reported after a driver crashed into a bus stop in North Phoenix late Thursday night.

According to 12 News, the crash occurred sometime before 10:45 p.m. just west of the intersection of Camelback Road and 23rd Avenue.

It is unclear at this time exactly what led up to the crash. However, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The identities of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.
