News: 2 killed, 2 hospitalized after fiery Buckeye crash

BUCKEYE, AZ – Two people were killed and two others were transported to the hospital following a major collision in Buckeye on Sunday night.

According to a report by Buckeye Police, the incident was reported around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Van Buren Street and Verrado Way.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, police say three vehicles were involved, one of which became engulfed in flames.

The two occupants in the burning vehicle were unable to get out in time and sustained fatal injuries as a result.

One woman was extricated from her vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The man in the third vehicle was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
