News: 24-year-old passenger killed following multi-vehicle collision in Flowing Wells

TUCSON, AZ – A man was killed and several others were sent to area hospitals following a high-speed collision in the Flowing Wells Area last weekend, KOLD reports.

The accident occurred on Sunday, May 9th at about 1 p.m. within the intersection of Romero Road and Prince Road.

Investigator says the driver of a 1998 Jeep was traveling at a high rate of speed through the intersection when it struck a Ford F-150 attempting to make the left turn onto Prince Road.

One occupant in the Ford, 24-year-old Dennis Edward Agnew, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

Both drivers and an unknown number of additional passengers in the Ford were transported to Banner University Medical Center for treatment of varying injuries.
