News: 29-year-old pedestrian killed in Phoenix hit-and-run

PHOENIX, AZ – A woman died after she was struck by two vehicles in northwest Phoenix on Sunday night.

According to a report by ABC 15, the incident was reported at about 10:30 p.m. along Grand Avenue, near the intersection with 39th Avenue.

Police say the victim, 29-year-old Adriana Cuevas, was fatally struck by two vehicles while walking in the area.

The first vehicle that hit Cuevas did not stop to render aid. The second driver remained at the scene.

Investigators are working to establish the official cause of the crash at this time. No charges have been filed as of yet.
