News: 47-year-old man killed in single-vehicle Tucson crash

TUCSON, AZ – A man died following a major single-vehicle collision in Tucson on Wednesday afternoon, KOLD reports.

The incident occurred at about 3:21 p.m. at the intersection of South 12th Avenue and West 44th Street.

Investigators believe 47-year-old Ramiro Reyes Loza lost control of his vehicle while attempting to make the left turn onto 44th St. and crashed into the traffic signal pole.

Loza was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time.
