News: Hit-and-run crash kills 33-year-old man in west Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ – A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles left a man dead in west Phoenix early Saturday morning.
According to CBS 5, The incident took place at about 2 a.m. at the intersection of 71st Avenue and Catalina Drive, not far from Thomas Road.
Police say a Ford SUV and a Cadillac sedan collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
All individuals in the Ford fled the scene on foot prior to authorities’ arrival at the scene. 33-year-old Xavier Cantu, the driver of the Cadillac, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died sometime later.
