News: Train strikes, kills pedestrian in downtown Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a train in downtown Tucson late Saturday morning.

According to KGUN, the man was struck at about 11:15 a.m. while walking on the tracks near Main Avenue and Granada Avenue.

The man was pronounced dead upon authorities’ arrival at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
